The Persbacker Family Scholarship Fund at Connecticut Community Foundation has college scholarships available for Bridgewater, Connecticut students, and scholarship support can span four years beginning in the 2018-19 academic year.  Eligible students residing in Bridgewater for at least six years and demonstrating outstanding community service in the town are encouraged to apply by March 15.

Former Bridgewater resident Victor L. Persbacker established the scholarship fund at the Foundation to help make college more affordable for students dedicated to community service.

Interested students may apply online for the Persbacker Family Scholarships here. Applicants are asked to provide two letters from non-school individuals attesting to their community service and an essay which speaks to the service.

The Foundation awards hundreds of college scholarships each year from many different funds—made possible by generous donors like Mr. Persbacker. Visit www.conncf.org/scholarships  to learn about them all and how to apply.
