In its first grant cycle of 2017, Connecticut Community Foundation has awarded a total of $27,000 in sponsorship grants to 32 organizations hosting community events in Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills. The wide-ranging list of events receiving grants includes summer concerts, fundraising dinners and galas, theater performances, history talks, and a health and safety fair.

Through these events, our sponsorship grantees will entertain, delight and educate residents of Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills. Their creative energies are at the heart of thriving communities in our region.”
