    Discussion Topic: Collaboration for Change The Republican-American, Hartford Courant,  and The Connecticut Mirror recently reported on findings by the Connecticut’s Child Advocate that, within six months, staff at Waterbury Public Schools made almost two hundred calls to police resulting in nearly forty arrests of elementary and middle school students experiencing a mental health crisis. Isn’t there a better way to address children who have experienced trauma, and live with mental health challenges? How is this problem being addressed? What can we do to help?
