Banking on Community

Tuesday, May 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00  p.m.
City Hall, Veterans Memorial Hall
235 Grand Street, Waterbury

We know this is a challenging time for nonprofits. Resources are stretched, needs are growing, and the pressure to do more never seems to let up. We also know that good things happen when community-minded people are in the same space, helping each other to meet common goals — and that’s exactly what we’re counting on!

In that spirit, the City of Waterbury and Connecticut Community Foundation invite Waterbury nonprofit leaders to connect with local financial institutions that have real resources and solutions to offer. This is not a traditional tabling event. You can expect meaningful, structured conversations about grants, loans, lines of credit, CRA-aligned partnerships, and other tools that can support your program growth and long-term sustainability.

Come ready to ask questions, make connections, and leave with clearer pathways to funding, new institutional relationships, and practical insights you can put to work right away. We encourage you to bring a brochure or a brief fact sheet to share, and look forward to seeing you there!
