Zakiyah Gathers

For the past 10 years, Zakiyah has dedicated herself to the intersection of art and technology. She utilizes her diverse experiences in creative arts, technology, and administration as a member of the communications team at the Foundation. Zakiyah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She is committed to using her skills to give back to her community, initially by serving as a teacher and school administrator, and later working with a local nonprofit organization. Zakiyah is passionate about sharing the impactful stories of nonprofits in action.
