Heidi is a nonprofit professional with advocacy, coalition-building, and fundraising experience that spans issue areas including education, affordable housing, hunger, HIV/AIDS, smart growth, clean water, and climate change.
She brings a strong set of development skills, and a particular talent for major donor cultivation, to her role at the Foundation. Her development efforts have benefited Trinity College, End Hunger Connecticut, the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters, the Universal Healthcare Foundation, and others. Most recently, Heidi worked at the Connecticut Fund for the Environment as the director of individual giving. She is a board member of Connecticut Humanities.
An art lover, reader, and outdoor enthusiast, Heidi lives with her family in West Hartford. She believes philanthropy is the key to a better tomorrow and looks forward to facilitating new relationships and deepening existing donor connections through Connecticut Community Foundation.
Favorite Experience in Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills
My favorite days feature a hike in the woods followed by locally-made ice cream from Arethusa Farms in Bantam or Double Twister in Southbury.
