Andrew Oravecz, MPP

Andrew oversees grantmaking, board governance, strategic planning, and community partnerships that address health disparities and advance equity, including with HealthBridge Foundation- a supporting organization of Connecticut Community Foundation. Prior to the Foundation, he worked for a human rights organization based in Washington, D.C., served with AmeriCorps, and held positions at the University of Connecticut, Community Health Center Association of CT, and CT Area Health Education Center Network. Andrew holds a BA in Political Science and Human Rights, a Master of Public Policy (MPP), and Graduate Certificate in Indigeneity, Race, Ethnicity, and Politics from the University of Connecticut.

Favorite Experience in Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills

Serving as an AmeriCorps member based out of the Waterbury Youth Service Bureau Building on Prospect Street and countless runs at the Bent of the River Audubon Center in Southbury.
