Zakiyah Gathers

Zakiyah has dedicated herself to the intersection of art and technology throughout her education and career. She utilizes her diverse experiences in creative arts, technology, and administration as a member of the communications team at the Foundation. Zakiyah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and is committed to using her skills to give back to her community. She initially served as a teacher and school administrator, and later worked with a local nonprofit organization. Zakiyah is passionate about sharing the impactful stories of our local nonprofits in action.
